DICK’S Sporting Goods in Beaumont, TX is hiring a Store Manager to lead daily operations, coach teammates, and ensure exceptional athlete experiences. You’ll build schedules, monitor payroll, and execute merchandising plans while delivering outstanding customer service.

As Head Coach in the store, you’ll drive business priorities, mentor leaders, and collaborate with store leadership to meet budgets and goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of experience.
• Previous retail/customer-facing experience required.
• Previous people leadership experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Deliver outstanding athlete experiences by providing clear, accurate product information and assisting customers.
• Uphold merchandising and presentation standards with floor sets, signage, pricing and inventory presentation.
• Promote corporate programs such as loyalty, warranty sales and private label enrollment.
• Contribute to 30-60-90 day plans with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager to support department priorities.
• Develop and implement staffing, scheduling, and workflow plans aligned with budgets and goals.
• Execute plans and adjust as needed using judgment and analysis of results.
• Lead store operations as Head Coach during shifts, including opening/closing procedures and front-end functions.
• Communicate goals and workload to teammates to maximize efficiency.
• Monitor progress against plans and adjust to meet payroll and financial targets.
• Build and lead a strong team, recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and retaining direct reports.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and development; conduct annual reviews and promotion recommendations.
• Create an inclusive store environment where teammates and athletes are treated with respect.
• Enforce safety, loss prevention, and SOPs and ensure compliance with external guidelines.
