Job summary

White House | Black Market, Inc. in Moosic, PA seeks an Assistant Manager to partner with the Store Manager in delivering an exceptional, customer-centered experience and leading a team to reflect our culture of hospitality.

You will hire, coach, and develop associates, drive store performance, and maintain brand standards on the sales floor while ensuring safe, efficient operations and inventory control. A flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) and at least 3 years of retail management

Qualifications

• Must have at least 18 years old.
• 3 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Team player with ownership and initiative.
• Ability to build relationships with customers and peers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and develop a team to deliver a customer-centered experience.
• Take ownership to achieve the store's financial goals and motivate the team.
• Assist in hiring, development, and coaching of associates.
• Lead by example on the sales floor and share product knowledge.
• Maintain a visually inspiring store environment reflecting brand standards.
• Ensure safe, compliant store operations including inventory and replenishment.
• Build community connections through in-store events and philanthropy.
