Total Wine & More in Modesto, CA seeks a Supervisor to support store operations, build a sales and service culture, and lead a team to deliver best-in-class service. You will train staff, resolve customer issues, and ensure compliance with alcohol laws while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

The role requires 1–3 years in retail, including a supervisory stint, plus strong interpersonal skills and a team-focused mindset. Evening/weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience, including 1+ year in a supervisory role within retail.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team player mindset.
• Experience resolving customer issues and coaching peers.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support service team, merchandising and front-end operations to drive sales and KPIs.
• Lead by example to deliver outstanding customer service and foster a welcoming store atmosphere.
• Supervise team members and support training for product knowledge and sales skills.
• Ensure compliance with alcohol-related laws and maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
• Maintain store safety and cleanliness across the store.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
