Job summary

PLS seeks an Assistant Store Manager at our Calumet Park location to lead daily operations, deliver outstanding customer service, and help achieve store goals. You will support the Store Manager and guide team members in a fast-paced retail financial services environment.

The role requires strong communication, recruiting support, and adherence to regulations. English fluency is required; English/Spanish bilingual is a plus. Benefits include medical/dental/vision and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of management experience in hospitality, financial services, retail, or restaurants.
• Ability to engage with customers and build positive relationships.
• Strong leadership and team motivation to exceed company initiatives.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain exemplary customer service and build relationships with customers.
• Assist Store Manager with recruiting, developing, and motivating staff.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Analyze financial statements to increase store sales.
• Manage schedules, cash, and store audits.
• Oversee CSR activities in the Store Manager's absence.
