Job summary

Goodwill NCW is seeking a store leadership candidate to oversee daily team activities in a busy Oshkosh retail backroom environment. You will guide staff, ensure efficient donation processing, and maintain safety and order while supporting recruitment and onboarding in collaboration with the Store Manager.

You will train and coach team members to meet production and sales targets, while upholding confidentiality and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3+ years of leadership experience preferred.
• Excellent time management and prioritization under time constraints.
• Excellent communication, customer service and attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Basic proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Outlook.
• Experience with reporting and dashboard tools.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and travel to other locations.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Manages a broad range of retail activities including scheduling and opening/closing, with a leader checklist completion.
• Supports mission through employment and training of people with different abilities.
• Supports recruitment by interviewing and selecting candidates aligned with mission and values and onboarding in partnership with Store Manager.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Work is performed primarily in a standard retail backroom or warehouse environment with extensive team member contact and frequent interruptions.
• Primary function requires sufficient physical ability to repetitively:
• Sit or stand for prolonged periods of time (up to 8 hours).
• Independently twist,lift, carry,pushorpull moderate (10pounds) to heavy (25 pounds) of weight; using a team liftfor objects weighing over 25 pounds.
• Reach (approximately 54inches).
• Frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch.
• Sufficienthand and finger dexterity to perform detailed tasks.
