Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Acts as Manager on Duty (MOD) in most cases, performing all necessary functions for successful store operation.
• Shift Supervisor takes direction from Store Manager and makes key decisions on store resources.
• Executes merchandising plans and maintains in-stock conditions throughout the stores.
• Drives engagement by communicating with customers and providing feedback to associates.
• Resolves customer issues promptly and effectively.
• Oversees work assignments to utilize talents while maximizing profits.
• Ensures compliance with labor laws, including lunch breaks and scheduling restrictions.
• Oversees procedures for receiving, producing, replenishing merchandise, pricing, freshness, and rotation.
• Enforces keeping of necessary logs according to company policy.
• Ensures safety compliance and adherence to price accuracy, weights, and measures laws.
• Performs daily store walks to identify opportunities, provide direction, and be visible to associates and customers.
• Supports and executes all company programs to achieve business results.
• Ensures company policies are communicated to, understood, and followed by associates.
