Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a dedicated team member to support store operations and customer service. You will open/close the store in the absence of management, manage cash handling, price changes, and backdoor access for deliveries, while ensuring a delightful customer experience.

You will engage customers, resolve issues, and help maintain accurate inventory, pricing, and display standards across departments. Prior supervisory exposure is preferred and experience with vendor orders is a plus.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, order voids, refunds, and cash drops to the safe; provides change to registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting and assisting with products and services; resolves issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Holds store keys to open/close without management; coaches others in ordering, vendor deliveries, and backdoor access.
• Registers all sales accurately, records scan errors, price verifications, and voids; reviews order exceptions with management.
• Maintains inventory accuracy across departments, stockroom, and overstock; supports pricing and signage.
