Job summary

The role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy in cash handling, and maintaining a safe, clean store environment. Prior cashier experience is preferred; opportunities for advancement exist within a few months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 6 months related experience.
• Minimum 3 months of cashier experience required.
• Must be 18+ years of age (state variations apply).

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous customer experience.
• Respond to and resolve customer requests and concerns.
• Assist customers with purchases and fuel transactions.
• Operate cash register and POS system.
• Ensure fuel and merchandise is available for customers.
• Maintain a clean and safe store environment.
• Support the Store Manager in all store operations.
• Lead the team to exceed store performance goals.
• Handle daily/monthly paperwork and training of new employees in absence of management.
