Job summary

Murphy Oil USA, Inc is seeking a part-time Shift Lead to deliver prompt, courteous service, assist customers with purchases and fuel transactions, and help maintain a clean, safe store environment. You will support the Store Manager and help guide the team to exceed performance goals.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 months of cashier experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. Pay ranges vary by state, with opportunities for advancement and benefits described above.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 3 months of Cashier experience
• High school diploma / GED, or equivalent work experience
• Must be 18+ (21+ in some states) and have a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous customer experience
• Handle purchases and fuel transactions, operate cash register
• Ensure merchandise and fuel are available and store is clean and safe
• Support Store Manager and lead the team to meet goals
• Perform daily/monthly paperwork, inventory counts, and training new staff when needed
