Job summary

Murphy Oil USA, Inc is hiring immediately for part-time Shift Leads at our Murphy USA stores. This role focuses on delivering prompt, courteous service, handling fuel transactions, managing the register, and supporting the Store Manager to drive store performance.

You must be at least 18+ with state-specific age requirements, have a high school diploma or GED (or 6 months related experience), and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 6 months related experience.
• Minimum 3 months of cashier experience required.
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous customer experience.
• Respond to and resolve customer requests and concerns.
• Assist customers with purchases and fuel transactions.
• Operate cash register.
• Ensure fuel and merchandise is available for customers.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Support the Store Manager in all store operations.
• Help lead the team to exceed store performance goals.
• Perform duties as assigned.
• In the absence of management provide backup duties including paperwork, problem resolution, video review, plan-o-gram compliance, inventory orders, product counts and equipment maintenance.
