Job summary

Murphy USA Inc. is hiring for part-time Shift Leads at our West Point, MS stores.

You will provide prompt and courteous customer service, assist with purchases and fuel transactions, operate the cash register, and support the Store Manager in daily operations. The role offers daily pay, health benefits, a 401k plan, and opportunities to advance to Assistant Manager in a short time, with a commitment to safety and a diverse, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or at least 6 months of related job experience.
• Requires minimum 3 months of cashier experience.
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Providing prompt, efficient, and courteous customer experience.
• Responding to and resolving customer requests and concerns.
• Assisting customers with purchases and fuel transactions.
• Operating cash register.
• Ensure fuel and merchandise is available for customers.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Supporting the Store Manager in all store operations.
• Helping lead the team to exceed the store's performance goals and objectives.
• Performing job related duties as assigned.
• In the absence of management provide backup duties including daily/monthly paperwork, inventory ordering, and training new employees.
