Job summary

Murphy USA Inc is hiring for part-time Shift Leads at our Starkville, MS location. You will provide prompt and courteous customer service, assist with purchases and fuel transactions, operate the register, and help lead the team to meet store goals.

This role offers daily pay options and opportunities for advancement. Requirements include being 18+, a high school diploma or GED (or related experience), cashier experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years of age with some location-based age exceptions stated.
• High school diploma or GED or at least 6 months of related job experience.
• Requires minimum 3 months of Cashier experience.
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous customer experience.
• Respond to and resolve customer requests and concerns.
• Assist customers with purchases and fuel transactions.
• Operate cash register and ensure fuel and merchandise is available.
• Maintain a clean and safe store environment.
• Support the Store Manager in all store operations.
• Help lead the team to exceed store performance goals and objectives.
• Perform duties including paperwork, scheduling, inventory, and training new employees.
