Job summary

AnimalKind seeks a reliable Shift Leader to oversee daily store operations and lead a team to deliver excellent service in Raleigh, NC. The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to manage a fast-paced environment while ensuring safety, inventory control, and accurate daily reports.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, handling customer inquiries, maintaining store standards, and coordinating tasks to ensure efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 years of experience in a shift leadership role or similar leadership position.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload.
• Flexibility to work afternoon, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operation of the store and lead a team of employees.
• Ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards, maintain a clean, organized store and adhere to safety protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service, assist customers, and handle questions, concerns, and complaints.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels, place orders, and restock as needed.
• Complete daily financial and operational tasks, including reconciling the register and shift reports.
• Other duties as assigned. Shift: Tuesday- Friday 2PM to 6PM; some weekends required.
