Job summary

Animalkind Inc. seeks a reliable Shift Leader to supervise daily store operations and lead a team to ensure tasks are completed efficiently while upholding the highest service standards in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will oversee customer service, inventory, cash handling, and shift reporting, while maintaining safety and cleanliness. The role requires leadership, multitasking, familiarity with POS systems and MS Office, and availability Tue–Sat 2PM–6PM.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a shift leader or supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment.
• Proficiency with computer systems and software (MS Office, POS).
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations and lead a team of employees.
• Maintain a clean, organized store and enforce safety protocols.
• Deliver excellent customer service and handle inquiries/complaints.
• Monitor and replenish inventory and restock as needed.
• Complete shift reports and reconcile cash and transactions.
• Shift: Tuesday–Saturday 2PM to 6PM.
