Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Process freight.
• Assist with taking price changes/markdowns.
• Balance the register according to company policy.
• Call out prices for customers at checkout.
• Bag merchandise efficiently during transactions.
• Handle cash, checks and credit cards per policy.
• Obtain management approval for returns, voids and checks.
• Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Provide customer service: greet customers, assist with fitting rooms, ring up, and thank customers.
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Keep a professional, neat appearance including a name tag.
• Assist management in merchandising and stock level of sales floor.
• Assist management with tasks per company policy.
• Explain exchange/refund policies to customers after transactions.
• Support Loss Prevention procedures and report incidents.
