The Store Manager leads the Mattress Firm vision, company initiatives, and achieves sales performance goals by holding associates accountable for the execution of in-store merchandising across multiple store units. The role involves leading selling programs, driving KPI results, and supporting the omni-channel experience. Ensuring teams prioritize customer experience and create an engaging environment is essential.

Responsibilities include:

• Driving individual and team sales performance and KPIs
• Training and coaching store employees in sales, product knowledge, and operations, including performance reviews and development plans
• Creating an environment centered on customer experience
• Communicating regularly with field staff and management
• Assisting in staffing, interviewing, and hiring
• Developing skills and knowledge through training and coursework
• Managing workforce activities like scheduling and punch reconciliation
• Achieving or exceeding financial targets through excellent customer service
• Ensuring proper merchandising and policy compliance
• Partnering with marketing on social media strategies
