Job summary

Mattress Firm is seeking a Store Manager to lead vision, initiatives, and achieve sales goals across multiple store units. You will coach a team, drive omni-channel experiences, and ensure customer-centric in-store experiences with strong merchandising execution.

You will oversee onboarding, workforce planning, inventory management, and policy compliance while partnering with leadership to optimize staffing and operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead store vision, Company Initiatives, and achieve sales performance goals by managing in-store merchandising across multiple units.
• Coach and develop associates to improve performance and engagement in a collaborative environment.
• Conduct onboarding and team-building activities, including 30–60–90‑day check-ins with new hires.
• Perform workforce management tasks: staffing schedules, punches, and adherence to policies and regulations.
• Communicate professionally and represent the Company brand in all interactions, internal and external.
• Oversee product transfers, inventory documentation, order accuracy, and stock planning for the store.
• Analyze provided reporting to adjust staffing and staffing levels by location in partnership with leadership.
• Provide product knowledge to customers and coaching to close sales and improve product understanding.
• Drive store-level operations and metrics to meet financial targets, social media planning with Marketing, and maintain cash handling procedures.
