Mattress Firm is seeking a Store Manager to lead store vision, drive sales, and ensure superior in-store experiences. You will coach and develop a team, manage staffing, and coordinate merchandising, branding, and omni-channel initiatives across the store network.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, strategic planning, and effective communication with cross-functional partners to achieve financial targets while maintaining compliance and customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead store vision and achieve sales performance goals by guiding merchandising and KPI execution across multiple units.
• Develop and coach associates' skills and performance to build a collaborative, high-performing team.
• Oversee onboarding and team-building activities, including 30-60-90 day check-ins and creating team bio books.
• Manage workforce schedules, attendance, and staffing levels using company tools and support.
• Ensure compliance with policies, appearance standards, and state regulations; represent the brand professionally.
• Coordinate product transfers with proper documentation and manage store inventory and stock levels.
• Plan strategically to optimize stock flow and pricing, and to counter competition.
• Execute cash handling, invoicing, and sales processing procedures with accuracy.
