Citi Trends is seeking a dedicated Store Sales Associate to join our team at one of the largest chains in the value-priced urban apparel industry. We are growing, and this is a great opportunity if you've ever wanted to lead the way.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

1. Processing freight
2. Assisting with price changes and markdowns
3. Balancing the register according to company policy
4. Calling out prices for customers during transactions
5. Bags merchandise efficiently upon completing transactions
6. Handling cash, checks, and credit cards correctly and per company policy
7. Obtaining management approval for returns, voids, and checks when needed
8. Maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping duties
9. Providing excellent customer service, including greeting customers, following fitting room policies, ringing transactions promptly, thanking customers, and inviting repeat visits
10. Following all safety procedures
11. Maintaining a professional, neat appearance, including wearing a name tag
12. Assisting management with merchandising and stock management
13. Supporting management with tasks as requested
14. Explaining exchange and refund policies to customers
15. Assisting Store Manager with Loss Prevention, including preventing shoplifting and cash losses, reporting theft or dishonesty, and following operational policies

Job Requirements:
