Job Title: Store Sales Associate at Citi Trends

Citi Trends is seeking a dedicated Store Sales Associate to join our team at one of the largest chains in the value-priced urban apparel industry. We are growing, and this is a great opportunity for those looking to lead the way.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Processing freight and assisting with price changes/markdowns.
2. Balancing registers according to company policy.
3. Calling out prices for customers during transactions.
4. Bagging merchandise efficiently.
5. Handling cash, checks, and credit cards correctly and in accordance with company policy.
6. Obtaining management approval for returns, voids, and checks when necessary.
7. Maintaining store cleanliness and housekeeping duties.
8. Providing excellent customer service, including greeting customers, following fitting room policies, ringing up transactions promptly, and inviting them to return.
9. Following all safety procedures.
10. Maintaining a professional, neat appearance, including wearing a name tag.
11. Assisting management with merchandising and other tasks as requested.
12. Explaining exchange and refund policies to customers.
13. Supporting Loss Prevention efforts, including preventing shoplifting and cash losses, reporting incidents, and following operational policies.

Job Requirements

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
