Citi Trends is seeking a dedicated Store Sales Associate to join our team at one of the largest chains in the value-priced urban apparel industry. We're growing, and this is a great opportunity if you've ever wanted to lead the way.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Processing freight
• Assisting with price changes and markdowns
• Balancing register according to company policy
• Calling out prices during transactions
• Bags merchandise efficiently after sales
• Handling cash, checks, and credit cards correctly and per policy
• Obtaining management approval for returns, voids, and checks
• Maintaining store cleanliness and housekeeping
• Providing excellent customer service: greeting, assisting fitting room policies, ringing transactions promptly, thanking customers, and inviting return visits
• Following all safety procedures
• Maintaining a professional appearance, including wearing a name tag
• Assisting with merchandising and stock management
• Supporting management with tasks per company policy
• Explaining exchange and refund policies to customers
• Assisting with Loss Prevention efforts, including preventing shoplifting and reporting incidents

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
