Job Description

Citi Trends is looking for a dedicated Store Sales Associate to join our team at one of the largest chains in the value-priced urban apparel industry. We're growing, so if you've ever wanted a chance to lead the way, this is it.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Processing freight
2. Assisting with price changes/markups
3. Balancing the register according to company policy
4. Calling out prices for customers when ringing transactions
5. Bags merchandise efficiently after transactions
6. Handling all cash, checks, and credit card transactions correctly and per company policy
7. Obtaining management approval for returns, voids, and checks when needed
8. Maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping duties as assigned
9. Providing proper customer service, including greeting customers, following fitting room policies, ringing up transactions promptly, thanking customers, and inviting them to return
10. Following all safety procedures
11. Maintaining a professional, neat appearance, including wearing a name tag
12. Assisting management with merchandising and stock level management
13. Supporting management with any tasks per company policy
14. Explaining exchange/refund policies to customers post-transaction
15. Assisting Store Manager with Loss Prevention efforts, including preventing shoplifting and cash losses, reporting incidents, and following operational policies

Job Requirements
