Overview

Sales Associates are to greet and thank every customer who enters and leaves the store. They must be knowledgeable of all product lines and responsible for maintaining a neat, clean store with properly displayed merchandise. Sales staff will support management in completing price changes, leveling, display resets, and all basic visual standards to ensure a tidy store.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Support the "Cavender's Culture" and promote our Mission, Vision, and Values.
  • Provide friendly, courteous customer service using professional and knowledgeable selling techniques.
  • Avoid high-pressure sales tactics.
  • Maximize selling opportunities with each customer.
  • Stay informed about the latest fashion trends in western wear.
  • Keep the work area neat, clean, and organized.
  • Be knowledgeable about CBC policies and procedures.
  • Stay updated on sale promotions (items/prices, etc.).
  • Assist in stocking merchandise and maintaining store appearance.
  • Report to work promptly and maintain a neat appearance.
  • Remain security conscious at all times.
  • Ensure products are correctly placed, signed, and neatly displayed, especially in the boot department.
  • Handle customer returns and exchanges professionally.
  • Respond knowledgeably to customer inquiries about products, promotions, and inventory.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to understand actions needed to meet company goals (e.g., ADS, UPTs, contests).
Qualifications And Requirements
  • Ability to lift objects regularly during shifts.
  • Basic comprehension of instructions and documents.
  • Ability to apply abstract principles to complex tasks.
  • Effective communication skills in English (reading and understanding).
  • Stay alert during work hours.
