Job Description

Citi Trends is seeking a dedicated Store Sales Associate to join our team at one of the largest chains in the value-priced urban apparel industry. We are growing, and this is a great opportunity to lead the way.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Process freight and assist with price changes/markdowns
• Balance register according to company policy
• Call out prices for customers during transactions
• Bag merchandise efficiently and handle all cash, checks, and credit cards correctly
• Obtain management approval for returns, voids, and checks when needed
• Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties
• Provide excellent customer service, including greeting, fitting room policies, timely ringing, thanking, and inviting customers to return
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a professional appearance
• Assist management with merchandising and other tasks as requested
• Explain exchange/refund policies to customers
• Assist Store Manager with Loss Prevention procedures, including preventing shoplifting and cash losses, reporting incidents, and following operational policies

Job Requirements
