Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Processing freight
2. Assisting with price changes and markdowns
3. Balancing the register according to company policy
4. Calling out prices for customers at the register
5. Bags merchandise efficiently during transactions
6. Handling cash, checks, and credit cards correctly and per company policy
7. Obtaining management approval for returns, voids, and checks
8. Performing maintenance and housekeeping duties
9. Providing customer service, including greeting, fitting room policies, ringing transactions, and thanking customers
10. Following all safety procedures
11. Maintaining a professional appearance, including wearing a name tag
12. Assisting management with merchandising and stock management
13. Explaining exchange and refund policies to customers
14. Supporting Loss Prevention efforts, including theft prevention and incident reporting
