What you’ll be doing day to day

• Ensures the safety and security of the people and property per local regulations.
• Completes safety, security, and compliance audits and trainings.
• Maintains critical safety equipment such as alarms, radios, and security systems.
• Reports and follows up on incidents that occur.
• Responds to and coordinates emergency situations in work areas such as burglar alarms, fire alarms, active shooter and other emergency events.

JOB TYPE – Permanent, Full-time, Hourly Associate

HOURS – 34-40 hours per week (HL3)

SHIFTS – Fully open work schedule availability including evenings and weekends required (6:00 AM-11:30 PM); Work schedules are published one month in advance.

The hourly pay range for this role is $21.48/hr - $30.34/hr.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 1 year work experience, preferably in a retail safety, security, or loss prevention environment
• Proven experience in report writing, including the preparation of incident reports and detailed assessments
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while adapting to evolving priorities and changing day-to-day responsibilities
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with team members while remaining receptive to feedback and changing business needs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Candidates in Oregon, New York, and St. Louis, MO, must be eligible to obtain a security guard license as required by applicable local law. Obtaining the security guard license is a required condition of employment for this role.
