NAPA is seeking a customer-focused Store Associate in Chicago to deliver automotive parts solutions and a high-quality customer experience. You will assist both retail and wholesale customers, use POS and catalog tools, and support fast-paced store operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong listening and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to learn automotive parts and technology systems.
• Experience in automotive, retail, or parts environment (preferred).
• Hands-on experience with vehicle repair or maintenance (preferred).
• ASE Certification (not required).

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate automotive parts solutions to retail and wholesale customers.
• Deliver a consistently positive and engaging customer experience.
• Operate POS, inventory/catalog tools, and communication devices.
• Maintain high energy and customer focus in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Assist with inventory control activities, including receiving merchandise and cycle counts.
• Build relationships with customers to drive loyalty and repeat business.
• Support store operations including transactions, inquiries, and general workflow.
• Contribute to merchandising and overall store efficiency.
