Loro Piana is seeking a dynamic Store Planning & Facilities Intern to support our Store Planning and Retail Facilities teams. You will assist in new store openings, relocations, expansions, and help manage facilities invoices and financial workflows within SAP.

This internship offers hands-on exposure to retail design, project management, and luxury retail operations, with emphasis on organization, budgeting, and cross‑functional coordination.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Store Planning project support and tracking for openings, relocations, expansions.
  • Organize, maintain, and distribute drawings, space plans, and design specs.
  • Coordinate communications with consultants, vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Prepare status reports, decks, and visual documentation for reviews.
  • Own end-to-end invoice management for Facilities; SAP-based workflows.
  • Process POs and GRs; reconcile vendor accounts and monitor expenditures.

Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Store Planning & Facilities Intern to support our Store Planning and Retail Facilities teams. In this role, you will assist in the execution of new store openings, relocations, and expansion projects, while playing a key operational role in managing facilities invoices and financial workflows within SAP. This is an exceptional opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in retail design, project management, and retail operations within the luxury sector.

Job responsibilities

Store Planning & Project Support

  • Support Store Planning project managers in tracking timelines, action logs, and deliverables for new store openings, expansions, and relocations.
  • Assist in organizing, maintaining, and distributing architectural drawings, space plans, and design specification packages to internal teams and external vendors.
  • Help coordinate communications with consultants, vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment on project milestones.
  • Prepare status reports, presentation decks, and visual documentation for project reviews.
  • Own the end-to-end invoice management process for the Facilities team, ensuring timely logging, verification, and routing for approval.
  • Process purchase requisitions, create purchase orders (POs), and manage Goods Receipts (GRs) utilizingSAP.
  • Reconcile vendor accounts, track monthly facilities expenditures against budgets, and resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors and the finance department.
  • Maintain organized digital archives of all contracts, service agreements, and financial documentation.
  • Assist with routine facilities administration and coordinate minor maintenance work order updates as needed.
Profile

Profile & Qualifications

  • Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s / Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Project Management, Architecture, or Interior Design.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Prior experience or strong familiarity with SAP (or similar ERP systems) and financial tracking.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly advanced Excel skills.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD or design software is a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment

Compensation

Loro Piana uses the published salary range as a guideline to provide our employees with market-competitive pay while allowing for flexibility to recognize and reward various levels of expertise, performance, and tenure. While the published salary range is a good faith reflection of the targeted salary level for the position, Loro Piana reserves the right to pay outside of the published salary range of $20 USD per hour.
