Job summary

Loro Piana North America is seeking an E-Commerce Intern to support the online business growth, working with the E-commerce Merchandising and Operations teams on reporting, activation calendars, inventory reviews, and local site updates for the US and Canada.

You will assist with weekly KPI analysis, create trackers, support guest services, and help develop the monthly e-commerce activation report to keep teams informed of digital developments.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of the digital space with respect to e-commerce, user experience, delivery experience, retail trends and digital media.
  • Affinity for luxury, fashion & leather goods, with knowledge of recent and longer-term trends in the category.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including copywriting and presenting information succinctly to the E-Commerce team.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and ability to prepare reports, presentations and analysis with Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
  • Strong analytical skills: proficiency in Excel, ability to understand and interpret numerous key performance indicators.
  • Positive, collaborative, hands-on and energetic attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in merchandise product ranking on the e-commerce website to optimize sales and conversion rates.
  • Assist with weekly reporting tasks, contributing to analysis of key performance indicators and merchandising effectiveness.
  • Maintain and organize the merchandising section of the E-Commerce NA Activation Calendar.
  • Create trackers for monitoring performance across new product launches, store operations and transfers and performance marketing campaigns.
  • Create and maintain templates for internal E-Commerce Bulletins.
  • Support Guest Services Team with operational requirements from order handling, warehouse returns and inventory.
  • Manage Guest Delighting opportunities by partnering with Guest Services.
  • Create and develop a competitive brand monthly e-commerce activation report.
  • Run Ad Hoc Analysis for latest E-Commerce site performance on a daily, weekly or monthly basis as needed.
  • Monitor Global, US and Canada site updates and developments and provide feedback to NA and HQ teams on a frequent basis.
  • React to Ad Hoc team and client requests as needed.

Job description

The E-Commerce Intern for Loro Piana North America will play an important role in supporting the success and growth of Loro Piana’s online business. The role will support the E-commerce Merchandising and Operations teams. The E-Commerce Intern will be responsible for creating and managing business critical E-Commerce reporting; maintaining and updating the E-Commerce Activation Calendar; collaborating with Operations to review inventory and returns processes; updating local merchandising initiatives on Loro Piana’s US and Canadian sites as well as other general administrative business needs. This role would be great for anyone who is keen to learn about a Global E-Commerce operation and contribute to the success of one of the most exceptional brands in the world.

Compensation

Loro Piana uses the published salary range as a guideline to provide our employees with market-competitive pay while allowing for flexibility to recognize and reward various levels of expertise, performance, and tenure.
While the published salary range is a good faith reflection of the targeted salary level for the position, Loro Piana reserves the right to pay outside of the published salary range of $20 USD per hour.
