Job summary

Walgreens Co. in the United States is seeking a Store Manager to run daily operations, lead the pharmacy and retail teams, and deliver a distinctive customer and patient experience. You will manage merchandising, staffing, inventory, and compliance to drive sales and profitability.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent retail leadership experience, willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, and pharmacy technician licensing as required by state law.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of retail management experience.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
• Licensed pharmacy technician as required by state OR pharmacy assistant in WA state OR licensed RPh as soon as possible given state law requirements, no later than 12 months from Store Manager position start date.

Responsibilities

• Manage operation of the store and pharmacy, including opening/closing/changing shifts, task delegation and scheduling team members.
• Monitor and analyze customer service; train and encourage staff and develop improvement plans.
• Analyze financial and performance data; develop action plans to increase sales and control costs.
• Identify sales opportunities and manage inventory levels to avoid outs and overstock.
• Promote teamwork, coach staff, and ensure training compliance across the store and pharmacy.
