Job summary

Walgreens Co. in the United States is seeking a Store Manager to lead day-to-day operations of the Walgreens store and pharmacy, focusing on service, merchandising, and asset protection.

You will oversee scheduling, inventory, and staff development, maintain compliance with laws and company policies, and partner with district management to drive sales, profitability, and a distinctive customer and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of retail management experience.
• Licensed pharmacy technician as required by state OR pharmacy assistant in WA state OR licensed RPh as soon as possible given state law requirements, no later than 12 months from Store Manager position start date.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Oversees store and pharmacy operations, including opening/closing shifts and scheduling.
• Analyzes customer service, provides training, and improves store performance.
• Manages inventory, merchandising, and store safety.
• Ensures compliance with laws and company policies.
• Supports district management with KPIs and action plans.
