Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a Store Manager to oversee daily operations of a Walgreens store and pharmacy, driving sales, profitability and customer satisfaction. You will lead merchandising, asset protection, staffing, and training to deliver a distinctive customer and patient experience.

The role requires leadership in operations, budgeting, and KPI analysis, with emphasis on compliance, staff development, and service excellence in both retail and pharmacy contexts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years retail management experience.
• Licensed pharmacy technician as required by state OR pharmacy assistant in WA state OR licensed RPh as soon as possible given state law requirements.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store and pharmacy operations, staffing, scheduling, and task delegation.
• Analyze financials and KPIs to increase sales and control costs.
• Ensure compliance with laws, company policies, and safety standards.
• Develop and coach team members through training and performance management.
• Deliver a distinctive customer and patient experience and resolve issues.
