Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a Store Manager to oversee daily operations, drive sales, and ensure exceptional customer experiences at the retail and pharmacy level.

You will lead a team, manage merchandise, inventory, and cash controls, while ensuring compliance with laws and company policies. The role requires flexibility for extended hours and weekends, and a pharmacy technician license where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of retail management experience.
• Licensed pharmacy technician as required by state OR pharmacy assistant in WA state OR licensed RPh as soon as possible given state law requirements, no later than 12 months from Store Manager position start date.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Monitors customer service and trains team members to improve performance.
• Supervises store and pharmacy operations, scheduling, and cash handling processes.
• Analyzes financial and performance data to increase sales and control costs.
• Manages inventory, merchandising, and stock levels, including receiving and transfers.
• Leads hiring, coaching, and employee performance management.
