Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a Store Manager to oversee daily operations of the Walgreens store and pharmacy, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient workflow. The role includes leading a diverse team, managing inventory, scheduling, and executing merchandising plans to drive sales and store profitability.

You will mentor staff, enforce company policies, and collaborate with district management to meet performance targets while maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience, or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of retail management experience.
• Licensed pharmacy technician as required by state OR pharmacy assistant in WA state OR licensed RPh as soon as possible given state law requirements, no later than 12 months from Store Manager position start date.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Manages operation of the store and pharmacy, including scheduling and task delegation.
• Supervises inventory, cash handling, and bookkeeping duties to prevent loss and ensure accuracy.
• Oversees merchandising and product placement to maximize sales and customer experience.
• Analyzes performance indicators and guides team to improve sales and service.
• Develops and coaches team members to meet company standards and regulatory requirements.
