Job summary

Walgreens in Queen Creek, AZ seeks a Store Manager to oversee daily operations of a Walgreens store and pharmacy. You will lead the customer experience, drive sales, manage staff, scheduling, inventory, and regulatory compliance, delivering a distinctive and delightful customer and patient experience.

The role requires leadership to model outstanding service, manage assets, and ensure profitability, while coaching team members and maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of retail management experience.
• Licensed pharmacy technician as required by state OR pharmacy assistant in WA state OR licensed RPh as soon as possible given state law requirements, no later than 12 months from Store Manager position start date.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Manages the operation of the store and pharmacy.
• Supervises opening/closing, shifts, task delegation and scheduling.
• Oversees merchandising, inventory management, pricing and stock levels.
• Analyzes financial and performance data; develops action plans to increase sales and control costs.
