Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Manager to oversee daily store and pharmacy operations, driving sales, profitability, and an exceptional customer experience. You will lead merchandising, inventory control, scheduling, and staff development to ensure adherence to policies and high service standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years in retail management or equivalent, pharmacy licensure as required by state law, and a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of retail management experience.
• Licensed pharmacy technician as required by state OR pharmacy assistant in WA state OR licensed RPh as soon as possible given state law requirements, no later than 12 months from Store Manager position start date.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and analyzes customer service; provides training and action plans for store and pharmacy.
• Greets customers and clinic patients and offers assistance with products and services.
• Supervises store and pharmacy operations, scheduling, and delegation of tasks.
• Manages inventory, stock levels, and merchandising; oversees returns and transfers.
• Analyzes financial and performance data; develops actions to increase sales and control costs.
• Ensures compliance with laws and company policies; hires and develops staff.
