Job summary

Genuine Parts Company, dba NAPA, is hiring a Store Pro who will be the primary contact for customers in our retail store. You will deliver automotive parts solutions, support both retail and wholesale customers, and drive store performance through product knowledge and responsive service.

You will operate POS and catalog tools, build relationships to foster loyalty, and help coordinate deliveries and inventory tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong listening and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to learn automotive parts and technology systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate automotive parts solutions to retail and wholesale customers.
• Deliver a consistently positive and engaging customer experience.
• Utilize product knowledge to assist customers and support team members.
• Operate systems including POS, inventory/catalog tools, and communication devices.
• Maintain high energy and customer focus in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Support store operations including transactions, inquiries, and general workflow.
• Build relationships with customers to drive loyalty and repeat business.
• Coordinate and dispatch deliveries, pull and prepare orders for customers and drivers, and support efficient logistics and fulfillment operations.
• Perform general housekeeping, cleaning, and organizational tasks to maintain a safe, professional store environment.
• Assist with inventory control activities, including receiving merchandise, stocking shelves, cycle counts, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Contribute to various store operations and team support tasks to optimize store performance, merchandising and efficiency.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to store processes and standards.
