Job summary

Genuine Parts Company (NAPA) seeks a Store Pro to be the primary contact for customers in our retail store, delivering automotive parts solutions and a high-quality experience. You will support both retail and wholesale customers, leveraging product knowledge to assist the team and ensure accurate order fulfillment.

As part of store operations, you will operate POS and inventory tools, assist with transactions, and help drive store performance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong listening and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to learn automotive parts and technology systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate automotive parts solutions to retail and wholesale customers.
• Deliver a consistently positive and engaging customer experience.
• Utilize product knowledge to assist customers and support team members.
• Operate systems including POS, inventory/catalog tools, and communication devices.
• Maintain high energy and customer focus in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Support store operations including transactions, inquiries, and general workflow.
• Build relationships with customers to drive loyalty and repeat business.
• Utilize delivery management systems to coordinate and dispatch deliveries, pull and prepare orders for customers and drivers, and support efficient logistics and fulfillment operations.
• Perform general housekeeping, cleaning, and organizational tasks to maintain a safe, professional, and welcoming store environment.
• Assist with inventory control activities, including receiving merchandise, stocking shelves, conducting cycle counts, and helping maintain accurate inventory records.
• Contribute to various store operations and team support tasks as needed to optimize store performance, merchandising, and overall efficiency.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to store processes and operational standards.
