Job summary

H-E-B in San Antonio is seeking a results-driven Store Operations Manager to translate GM-approved plans into daily execution, ensuring an optimal customer experience and safe, clean facilities.

You will lead multiple management levels, coach the Maintenance team, manage budgets and compliance, and collaborate with Store Leadership to sustain high performance.

The role requires strong decision-making, clear communication, and a hands-on approach to safety and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• Proven management and leadership experience.
• Education from a college or technical school.
• Combination of education and experience preferred.
• Experience handling sensitive people issues and emergency situations.
• Experience addressing theft and other serious scenarios.
• Proven ability to set objectives and lead a team to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities

• General Store Operations oversight with independent judgment on decisions.
• Lead and coach Maintenance and other store managers; manage Partners.
• Develop guidelines and direct policy in Maintenance aligned with GM.
• Lead store walks, enforce standards, and address issues promptly.
• Communicate closing/opening shift issues effectively.
• Oversee facility maintenance and exterior/interior safety standards.
• Focus on customer service, partner morale, and loss prevention.
• Coordinate capital requests and license compliance as needed.
