Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily operations, deliver friendly customer service, and develop team members at our Indianapolis-area store.

In this full-time role, you’ll supervise store activities, assist in merchandising, staffing, and safety compliance, and support the Store Manager in achieving sales goals while maintaining a welcoming shopping environment for customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Retail management experience preferred in grocery/retail/drug store environments.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Provide friendly customer service and address questions or concerns.
• Organize merchandise and maintain seasonal areas.
• Assist in opening/closing procedures and store cleanliness.
• Support payroll, scheduling, and cash handling tasks.
• Support Store Manager in training and development of staff.
