Job summary

Littlefield Oil Company is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily retail operations, greet customers, process transactions, and maintain a clean, organized store and checkout area.

You will supervise deli or cashier teams, schedule staff, train new employees, manage inventory, ensure pricing accuracy, and uphold safety standards while delivering exceptional customer service. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred.
• Mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist customers.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move up to 25+ pounds.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Supervision and leadership to deli or cashier team members.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Process customer transactions accurately (cash, credit, debit).
• Ensure correct prices and discounts are applied.
• Provide information about products, promotions, and store policies.
• Handle inquiries and resolve issues promptly and courteously.
• Maintain a clean, organized checkout area and restock supplies.
• Monitor discrepancies or suspicious activity at the checkout.
• Collaborate with team members for smooth operations.
• Follow safety and security procedures to protect people and assets.
• Restock shelves, coolers, and displays; keep store neat and appealing.
• General store cleaning including service areas, restrooms, sales floor, and parking lot.
• Other duties as assigned.
