Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior cashier or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
• Positive attitude and willingness to help customers.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Process customer transactions accurately (cash, credit, debit).
• Ensure correct prices and discounts are applied.
• Provide product, promotions, and store policy information.
• Handle inquiries and resolve issues promptly and courteously.
• Maintain a clean checkout area and replenish supplies.
• Monitor discrepancies or suspicious activity at checkout.
• Collaborate with team for smooth store operations.
• Follow safety and security procedures to protect people and assets.
• Restock shelves, coolers, and displays; keep store neat.
• Perform general store cleaning across areas including restrooms and parking lot.
• Other duties as assigned.
