Job summary

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is hiring an Assistant Manager to blend business strategy, operations, and people leadership in-store. You will drive sales by analyzing the business, supervising daily store operations, and delivering best-in-class service while showcasing product knowledge and brand standards.

You’ll recruit, train, and engage teammates, develop floorset updates, and use reporting for informed decisions. Growth from within supports your advancement into future store leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree OR one year of supervisory experience in a customer-facing role.
• Maintain a strong customer focus and brand knowledge.
• Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Lead and coach team members, recruit and train others as needed.
• Balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Show initiative and confidence, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform Opening and Closing Routines.
• Supervise salesfloor & stockroom, ensuring excellent customer service & seamless operations.
• Conduct staffing and scheduling operations and payroll management.
• Train and develop the non-management staff.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and brand awareness, while driving sales.
• Build and maintain visual displays.
• Analyze reporting to inform decision making.
• Protect store assets & perform inventory control.
• Operate Register/Point of Sale systems.
• Fulfill OMNI Channel Orders.
• Represent the Brand and Exemplify Company Culture and Values.
