Job summary

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is seeking an Assistant Manager who blends business strategy, operations, and people leadership to drive sales and deliver best-in-class customer service. You will oversee daily store routines, manage staffing, and develop staff while upholding brand standards.

You’ll use product knowledge and visual merchandising to inspire teams, analyze reports for decisions, and support omnichannel orders. This role offers growth within our store organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 1 year of supervisory experience in a customer-facing role.
• Strong customer focus and knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; team building and coaching ability.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, takes initiative and pays attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform Opening and Closing Routines.
• Supervise salesfloor & stockroom, ensuring excellent customer service and seamless operations.
• Conduct staffing, scheduling, and payroll management.
• Train and develop non-management staff.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and brand awareness to drive sales.
• Build and maintain visual displays.
• Analyze reports to inform decision making.
• Protect store assets and manage inventory control.
• Operate register/POS systems.
