Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Louisiana LLC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with merchandising, opening/closing duties, and enforcing company policies while helping to lead and train store associates.

The role emphasizes maintaining a well-stocked sales floor, secure assets, and a positive, safe environment for customers and staff. Prior retail supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures and process corporate directives.
• Maintain displays, stock levels, and loss prevention measures.
• Support Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing store associates.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and safe for customers and staff.
