Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in North Augusta, SC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily functions, organize merchandise, and help supervise Store Associates to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include opening/closing, loss prevention, payroll/Scheduling support, and ensuring policies are followed.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Store management experience in retail preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Excellent customer service and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked, organized store and stockroom.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and ensure staff follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and restock as needed.
