REI Co-op in Dillon, Colorado is seeking a Sr. Operations Specialist to guide the store to operational excellence. This role acts as the store's Swiss Army Knife, sharing knowledge, making recommendations, and engaging with customers daily.

You will support the store management team, perform daily office duties, and embrace ambiguity while solving problems. The ideal candidate brings retail or office experience, strong communication, and a collaborative, customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail or office environment is preferred.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and reconciles operational business expenses.
• Mentors and supports operations and sales staff as needed.
• Manages office supply inventory within assigned budget.
• Assists with hiring, HR documentation, and store files.
• Coordinates Safety Committee, Product Quality issues, and Loss Prevention standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
