Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking store teammates to deliver exceptional shopping experiences by greeting customers, assisting with product needs, and maintaining store standards. You will help unload freight, organize backrooms, and ensure safety and policy compliance while fostering an inclusive environment for teammates and customers alike.

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales, operations, maintenance, or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 35 lbs. items repetitively (up to 25 times per hour).
• Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
• Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).

Responsibilities

• Greet everyone and proactively approach athletes to understand their needs.
• Ensure merchandise is processed and the backroom organized for easy access.
• Uphold merchandising and presentation standards.
• Assist with unloading trucks and processing freight.
• Fulfill customer experience by completing processes to service standards.
• Adhere to safety, loss prevention, and SOPs; maintain confidentiality.
• Create an inclusive store environment.
• Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
