Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking store teammates to create an exceptional shopping experience by welcoming customers, understanding their needs, and executing efficient stocking and checkout processes. You will help process freight, maintain backroom organization, and uphold brand standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role emphasizes safety, loss prevention, teamwork, and delivering customer-centric service across all store operations.

Qualifications

Prior retail sales, operations, maintenance, or customer-focused experience preferred.
Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs. items repetitively (up to 25 times per hour).
Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.
Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).

Responsibilities

Greet teammates and customers and proactively approach athletes to understand their needs.
Ensure merchandise and product received is processed per procedures; backroom organized and accessible.
Uphold merchandising and presentation standards.
Assist with unloading trucks and freight processing; execute transfers and claims.
Complete processes according to service level standards to meet customer experience goals.
