Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is hiring store teammates to help create an exceptional shopping experience. You will greet customers, understand their needs, and support their shopping journey with active product knowledge and friendly service.

The role involves processing merchandise, maintaining visual standards, unloading freight, and supporting in-store operations while upholding safety and confidentiality policies. A team-oriented, inclusive environment is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales, operations, maintenance, or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up to 15 to 35 lbs repetitively.
• Ability to work extended periods standing or walking (up to 4 hours).
• Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours).

Responsibilities

• Greet teammates and customers to understand their needs and support their shopping experience.
• Ensure that all merchandise and product received at the store is processed in accordance with established programs and procedures; the backroom is organized and maintained.
• Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards.
• Assist with the unloading of trucks, processing of freight, execution of transfers, RTVS, claims, freight processing, etc.
• Fulfill the company-defined customer experience by completing all processes according to our service level standards.
• Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures. Maintains confidentiality of all Company information.
• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone (teammates and customers) feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect.
• Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
